2013 Event Review
WHEW! The 2013 event was a huge success thanks to all the amazing volunteers and donations!
This year, we photographed 55 families, or about 200 people. Each group walked away with a CD of their top images, an 8x10 print, and a custom-built 8x10 frame!
It is such a blessing to hold this event and to give back to the Flagstaff community. We could not have done it without donations and help from the following organizations:

We will be open for portraits from
9am to 5pm
We will once again be hosted by NAU Photography Program in the School of Communication - room 106
This event is open to all! Anyone who has never had a professional portrait made, never had a chance to get the family together for a studio shoot, or generally can't afford the standard prices that professional photographers tend to charge.
It takes about an hour, start to finish, depending on the size of your group. There is typically a short wait, then your photo session, then another wait while our retouchers and printers make sure your finished 8x10 print comes out as beautiful as possible.

Directions!
Check this out. A group of more than 10,000+ photographers and 12,000+ volunteers all over the world are GIVING AWAY professional photographs this Holiday Season. Last year, we gave away more than 101,000 portraits to people in need.
If this seems like something worth sharing, the entire community would appreciate it.

We're at it again!
This year, we are hoping to see another 200 people come through the doors at the NAU School of Communication for free portraits.
This has become somewhat of a tradition for us in Flagstaff, participating in the world-wide Help-Portrait event.
All you need to know:
Saturday, December 8
9am to 5pm
NAU Photography Studios: School of Communication
No need to sign up or reserve a spot, just show up! Bring your family, your friends, or come on your own. You'll walk away with an 8x10 print and a CD of the top images from your session.
We will have 7 professional photographers, two retouchers, and a host of other volunteers working all day to provide you with the professional photo session experience.
You can probably get in and out of the building in about 30 minutes, though we recommend planning for up to an hour, in case the line gets long like last year!
The School of Comm is building 16 on campus maps. We will have signs up directing you to the correct building! Enter campus from Riordan or University and go North on Knoles past the Cline Library (on your left) to the School of Communication (on your right).
If that doesn't work for you, feel free to call Matt: 928-600-3360 and he will attempt to guide you in.

If any printing lab is giving you trouble with the pictures, we suggest you print off a copy of this PDF and wave it in their faces.
If they still refuse to give you your pictures, please encourage them contact Matt Beaty to incur his wrath.
Many of the labs in Flagstaff were told of Help-Portrait. Many of them have seen pictures from last year's event come through their doors.
